It is regarded as a quality brand that represents value for money, though it is not usually the cheapest option. Deutsche Telkom positions itself as an innovator in the telecommunications sector, and has recently launched a new product called MagentaTV, which combines live TV with streaming services such as Netflix and media libraries from the largest TV stations. The launch marks another move by DT into the entertainment sector. The name reflects the brand’s use of the color magenta in its communications.
